Every October, artists all over the world take on the Inktober drawing challenge by doing one ink drawing a day the entire month. I created Inktober in 2009 as a challenge to improve my inking skills and develop positive drawing habits. It has since grown into a worldwide endeavor with thousands of artists taking on the challenge every year.
In October 2017, I participated in Inktober for the second year in a row. This year, I managed to make it through thirteen consecutive days, which was an improvement from the prior year. Previously, I managed to only get through three days worth of ink drawings. Additionally, many of 2017’s drawings were much more detailed, and I also I ventured into color ink as well.
